We don’t have binding referendums because they’re not allowed,
Or proportional representation by our present political crowd,
But you didn’t know and are always told that everything is grand,
Our politicians are looking after you and everything is planned.
Our media moguls and journalists keep everything in line,
They seem to have their own agenda and everything is fine,
Nothing important changes until the Supreme Court decides,
They just let referendums and death-with-dignity slide.
Our politicians should be told that we the people are the boss,
Not some secret party agenda that leaves us at a loss,
Where death-with-dignity is banned or swept under the rug,
Or the idea of binding referendums is never heard or gets a shrug.
